Acer Inc. is Taiwanese hardware and electronics corporation. In 2015 Acer was the 6th largest computer vendor producing laptops, desktops, and other electronics. Around the Sioux Falls area Acer is known for acquiring Gateway, Inc in 2007 (now defunct).
